Jen wanted to quit smoking for good, so she signed up to our quit programme with Yorkshire Smokefree Wakefield.

At her final appointment with her advisor we asked her to share a few words about her experience. Here's what she told us:

“During an asthma attack, I was admitted to hospital for 8 days. Despite using NRT patches in hospital, the first thing I did upon returning home was light up a fag! Upon discharge from hospital, my asthma peak flow reading averaged 360 litres per minute. Two weeks into quitting smoking, my reading with Clare was back up to 410 litres per minute, a good average for my age.

Now on the better side of ‘quit zits ‘and bleeding gums, I’m saving money and feeling much better in myself.”

Well done on your quit, Jen! You done brilliantly!
