David is originally from Airedale and when he came in to the Wakefield Stop Smoking Service he told us at the end of a coalmining shift it was usual to enjoy a smoke at the pithead baths.
Now, the retired minor lives in Castleford and told us: "I wanted to quit smoking, not only for my health but for financial reasons. After regular support from my stop smoking advisor Clare at Queen’s Mill in Castleford, I can now stop wasting money on tobacco!"
