From all of us here at Yorkshire Smokefree, we would like to wish you a very Happy New Year! Hopefully this year will be better than last year, but if you want to make this year the year you finally quit smoking, we are here to help.
Many people decide that they will stop smoking on January 1st, but many fall short at this hurdle. As many places will be closed on January 1st, it makes it difficult for those who want to quit to find the support they need.
Starting the new year off with resolutions is a great way to motivate yourself, but as others have found setting resolutions can lead to failure very early on in the year.
That doesn’t mean you will fail at this resolution, it just means that you may need extra support in your quit.
