Delory quit smoking with the support of Smokefree Sheffield. Here's his story...
"I decided that this was the time I was going to quit smoking for good, and I'm so proud to say that I've done it!
I've tried to quit before but always ended up going back to smoking, mainly because I was surrounded by other smokers. Things are different now, and staying smoke-free feels so much easier.
Since quitting, I've noticed so many positive changes. I'm really enjoying going jogging and finding it much easier than before. My teeth look whiter, the whites of my eyes seem brighter, and one of the best things is being able to smell properly again, especially when driving past the bakery!
Coming into the stop smoking clinic in Sheffield every Monday for my CO readings has been a huge motivation and has helped keep me on track. It's been great to see the progress in my results and remind myself how far I've come. The regular phone calls have also been a massive support, helping me stay focused and motivated throughout my journey.
