"I started smoking when I was 15, and for a while I lived in America where cigarettes were really easy to get hold of. Most of my friends smoked too, so back then it just felt normal and wasn't something we thought much about.

Because I have ADHD, I've always had quite an addictive personality, so I honestly never thought I'd be able to quit smoking for good. But the nicotine patches really helped, and the gum was a game changer for me. Whenever I got a craving, I'd just have a piece of nicotine gum and it took the edge off straight away.

Since quitting, I feel so much better in myself. I'm still around smokers every day, but it doesn't make me want to start again. I never thought I'd get to this point, but I'm now smoke-free and determined to stay that way for good".

Congratulations on your quit, Kaan. Maggie and the Smokefree Sheffield team are proud of you and all you have achieved so far. Keep it up!
